• The Biggest Piranha Caught in the World

This is the biggest piranha has ever been caught by an angler. Their size and teeth make them confident to attack an adult crocodile or a fisher and bite their meat or flesh as supper. Currently, a 52 years old British angler and ITV’s River Monsters show host, Jeremy wade, reeled and took a beast-looking piranha off the Congo River during his fishing expedition in Africa.

The piranha is a family of goliath tigerfish and the predator is 100 pounds in weight and stretches 5 feet long. A goliath tigerfish is known as one of the most frightening freshwater species ever. It is far bigger, deadlier, and stronger than any piranha in the world. The piranha swims with 32 razor-sharp teeth in its mouth and that what makes the fish rarely reeled or caught by other anglers.

For Jeremy wade, the piranha gave him a chance to release one of the best and craziest TV report in the history of ITV’s River Monsters. Wade is lucky enough not to lose his hands when he had to hold the giant “goliath tigerfish” with his bare hand during the photo sessions.
